WinDirStat is a legendary open-source Windows tool from 2003. However, WinDirStat suffers from slow scanning speed on modern multi-terabyte drives and lacks macOS support.
DiskShift updates the visual disk space analyzer concept with instant multi-threaded scanning, macOS & Windows compatibility, duplicate detection, and a modern privacy-first design.
